CPC, CTR, RPM

As you all already know, Adsense has recently announced on their official blog about Google AdSense support on Bangla content. However, not all Adsense ads have been compatible with the Bangla site as many have not been successful by applying for AdSense from the Bangla site. However, we hope that Google AdSense will be approved on the Bangla website soon, eliminating all complications. Before applying for AdSense from your Bangla website created for your hard work, you must make the website useful for AdSense.

The topic I am discussing today is quite simple but one of the most important for AdSense publishers. Many people do not know this simple thing because they can not increase income from their AdSense account. Google essentially pays for ads to AdSense publishers by calculating CPC and RPM. In that case, the higher the CPC and RPM rate of the website, the higher the income of the website. Those who are wandering around with these simple three things will be clear if they read this post carefully today.

The main and only way to increase revenue from Adsense with blogging. The more visitors to the blog, the more AdSense Adsense will be able to earn. Before discussing the topic of the post, let me say that the main point of our post today is not to increase CPC and RPM, just to get a basic idea about Google AdSense CPC, Page RPM, and Page CTR. I'll share a post on how to increase CPC and RPM one day.

What are CPC, Page RPM, and Page CTR?

We will discuss these three issues in separate sections today. However, there are some other things associated with them that you do not know or will not clear your concept without clear ideas.
  •  What is page views: This refers to each Page View on your blog. If a hundred people visit one hundred pages on your blog, then Page Views will be 3. AdSense does not have a direct linguistic relationship with this view. In addition, Page View on your blog also refers to an Individual Ad View, including Ad View.
  • What is the impression: Impression refers to the number of ads the visitor has seen. Suppose you have a total of 5 ads on one page of your blog, but the visitor did not see all the ads on that page, that is, an ad was down because it did not rise on the browser. In that case, your page views here will be counted as 2. Impression shows the total number of ads displayed on the blog.
  • What is Click: In Google Adsense, click is just an ad click. In this case, it does not indicate how many pages on your website are clicked.
  • What is Page CTR: Page CTR is the total number of page clicks on a blog's Page Views. Page CTR will be 1% if you click on an ad for 1 page out of 5 pages view on a blog.
  • What is impression CTR: Impression CTR is the total number of ads clicked on a given ad. Suppose there are 5 ads placed on each page of your blog and the blog page has 5 views and total ad shows are 1 x 1 = 1. Impression CTR will be 1x3 9 = 1, it 3% if you click on 1 of 5 ads displayed.
  • What is page RPM: Page RPM refers to the amount of revenue you will get for each page view in a blog.
  • What is impression RPM: Impression RPM is the total revenue generated for each ad displayed on all posts in a blog.

What is CTR (Click Through Rate)?

CTR is used to indicate the number of times ads are clicked on a blog or website's total view of the ad. For example - suppose your blog has 5 pages of views and clicked on only 1 visitor to Add. In that case, your CTR will be 5%. If the page view of your blog is 1 and 3 times the ad is clicked, your CTR will increase by 5%. This CTR only counts the number of clicks on your ad's total visitor views.

What is Cost Per Click?

Needless to say more about Cost Per Click. Because you know for yourself what it means. Click on your ad is the amount of dollars AdSense will pay you. In this case, the higher the cleat rate, the higher the income. Suppose your CPC rate is 0.99 $, in which case you get $ 0.99 per ad click.

What is RPM (Revenue Per Mile)?

It calculates the number of dollars it will pay per 1-page view without clicking on a blog ad. Suppose your blog's advertising RPM is $ 1.25, in which case Google will pay $ 1.25 per view for your blog ad 3 times.

Overall calculation of CTR, CPC, and RPM:

In the past, you've got a clear idea of the above three things, how Google AdSense pays for advertising and how your AdSense revenue grows and declines. Now I will try to give a clear idea of three things by example.

Example - Suppose your blog has one million page views per month and your blog's CTR is 5%. That is, only three out of every one hundred page views click on your blog's ad. In this case, your net CTR would be (Total View x CTR ÷100 ), which is 3000 times. Of the one million page views on your blog, 5 clicked on the ad. As such, if your blog's CPC rate is 0.03 $, the total click rate will be 90 dollars. That means Google will pay you $ 90 for a click of 3000 ads out of a million viewers.

Lastly, from the above calculation and AdSense CPC, Page RPM and Page CTR you can understand why you are making less revenue from Google Adsense or earning more than you are getting fewer visitors. The higher the CPC, Page RPM and Page CTR of your blog, the more you can earn from AdSense. Typically CPCs and RPMs are higher based on the content of the blog content, ranking, and advertising location. In this case, you can target ads in developed countries with good quality content and increase the blog's revenue by increasing AdSense CPC and RPM.
